Bridgeport, CT –The American Fabrics Art + Design Center in Bridgeport will open it’s doors to the public on Saturday and Sunday, November 13th & 14th, from 10am - 5pm to showcase more than 30 artists in their studios. This is the fifth year of the American Fabrics Open Studios event. Last year the event attracted more than 700 people. It is a unique opportunity for art lovers, the curious, young and old alike, to meet the artists in their studios. Each studio reflects the artist’s personal style and is where the creative process happens. Painters, photographers, artisans, designers and craftspeople will share their techniques and process, while offering work for sale. Denyse Schmidt Quilts and Jocelyn Braxton Armstrong Ceramics will hold their well-attended Annual Sample Sales. Concurrent with American Fabrics Open Studios, City Lights Gallery and The Public Art and Design Center, both in downtown Bridgeport will also hold events this weekend.
