Norwalk, CT, February 23, 2017– Save the date Wednesday, April 5 for the fourth annual Norwalk LitCrawl, which this year will benefit Literacy Volunteers. Once again the Norwalk Public Library asks for your help to further the arts in Norwalk and to celebrate April, poetry month, by reading a poem at one of our LitCrawl venues.
Select a reading of about 5 minutes or less, including your introduction of why you chose to read that poem, etc. Please let us know what you will be reading by March 22, and include a one or two line bio so the host can introduce you. Also let us know if you have a preferred venue and the approximate time at which you’d like to read.
This year, LitCrawl will take place in the Wall Street area from 5 – 8:30 p.m. at the following restaurants:
Peaches, 5 - 7 p.m., with hosts Erin Herring and Cynde Lahey
Banc House, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., with hosts Brian Griffin and Kathryn Hebert
Fat Cat Pie Co., 6 – 8 p.m., with hosts Sherelle Harris and Nori Grudin
Aji10, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., with hosts Laurel Peterson and Neddy Smith
The restaurants will provide FREE appetizers and a CASH BAR for all attendees. There will be a sound system at each venue to enhance your enjoyment of the readings.
Encourage your friends to join LitCrawl this year! Tickets may be purchased by donating $10 to Literacy Volunteers online at, https://client.pointandpay.net/web/NorwalkPublicLibrary.
